Brought to our attention in November 2009.
Hi, My name is Dusty Dellinger and I work for a land developer in McKinney, Texas. We bought an old 34 acre ranch that came complete with farm house, windmill, stables and one MOPAC caboose. Since we will be turning the land into several smaller tracts I need to find a home for this caboose, it seems to be in good condition. Wondering if there is a website were I could post this caboose for sale or how to go about selling a caboose.
Thanks, Dustin Dellinger
Dusty, I'm Elvin Klepzig and I keep the MP Preserved Caboose list which is located here...

This caboose you've mentioned is a new one for us so I'm very interested in it's background and any images you might provide on it. I try to track these cabooses as they move about, being bought and sold, and what becomes of them. I'd appreciate anything you can provide on past owners and such.
As for selling the caboose, the links provided by Jerry Michels ought to get you started pretty well. If by chance it's not sold after a bit, I'd be glad to note it being "For Sale" on my list of MP Cabooses. I can attach your contact info too.
At any rate, it's good to learn of another one still being with us. Good luck on the sale and looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care, Elvin Klepzig
Hi Elvin,
Thanks for the great info, I'm starting to learn more about caboose history than I ever thought. My company bought the land from Charles Belew, I was told he had the caboose brought to his 34 acre ranch sometime in the 80's-90's. I have attached several pictures for you, please note on your page that it is for sale. We are land developers, but want to find a proper home for this piece of history.
